Technically, no. Every board in the game is generated with exactly one valid solution, and level 42 is no exception. It is a hand-tuned Wall level built to end win streaks, so it is merely rude. The name is a dare, not a warning.

Is it free?
Yes. The game is free to play, works offline, needs no account, and you can reach (and lose to) level 42 without paying anything. An optional subscription unlocks extras like Rush mode with weekly leaderboards, onsen themes, full stats, and unlimited hints.
What happens if I pass level 42?
Level 43 happens, and life is peaceful again until level 84. Every 42nd level is a Wall, and each one is meaner than the last. Passing one is genuinely something to brag about, which is why every board can be shared with a link.
Why a capybara?
Capybaras are famously the most unbothered animals on Earth, and they really do soak in hot springs. A puzzle this unfair needed a mascot this calm. His name is Capy. Petting the one on this page does nothing. The counter says otherwise.
